Snow Day 2017

So a little anticlimactic, however, still fun!  We sure did enjoy ourselves.  We would go out and play, freeze, go back in to warm up, go back out, freeze, etc.  It was a pretty consistent cycle.  I do feel I succeeded in the secret formula of layers to keep the kids warm.  Though they looked like chubby snowman, they stayed warm and that’s all that matters right!  One of the things the kids got from Dave and Busters were two sumo fighter waist floats.  After the kids used it for their original purpose, they served double duty as sleds.  They enjoyed the heck out of those and Matt got into the action too.  Like I said, a little less than we expected, but we made the most out of it.

Charlotte thought the snow and cold was amazing!  She didn’t want to come in for long and when she was ready, she’d do this by the door.2017-01-08_0021

All that playing made them hungry so around 12:30, the kids threw in the towel, took their wet, snowy clothes off and decided to enjoy the rest of their day inside.2017-01-08_0026
