We postponed Natalie’s birthday party a few days so we could spend it with all the Traver clan on our mini-vacation. It was worth the wait and it was very special and fun to have my parents, brothers, sisters-in-law and all the little cousins all under one roof singing Happy Birthday to baby bird. Here’s a little showcase of the birthday goodies and the birthday girl on her party day.

and this was it all put together! I think it turned out nice, especially since we had to haul all the stuff and do some of the prep work at the lake house we stayed at.
Since it was Easter weekend we went with an Easter hunt theme and it was a big hit. The kids really liked their Easter basket favors and of course the Easter egg hunt that came after the cake.
Natalie was very intrigued and a little concerned by the Happy Birthday singing but she didn’t mind it too much. I definitely think she was taking in the experience!
