Disney on Ice!

And we couldn’t have asked for more perfect timing! Last year around this time we weren’t able to go, because well, I was about to P-O-P, but this year it was a great first birthday present… with side benefits of fun for all of us too!  We got a chance to see Disney on Ice – Let’s Celebrate and it was awesome!  I knew the kids would definitely enjoy it but Matt and I also had a fabulous time!

We had to make some shirts for the girls to get them ready for the experience of course and they turned out pretty cute I think.

Here is one of the girls before we left.

We got off work a little early and headed to Pensacola for an early dinner at McGuire’s and enjoyed some yummy food. Natalie ate her body weight in food it seemed, she’s like an endless pit! We can’t figure out where it goes! After our dinner, we headed to get our seats. Here is the view of the stage from our section. Pardon the quality, but it’s taken with our phone, but you get the gist.

We were all mesmerised by the wonderfulness of the production.  You can definitely tell there are HOURS of rehearsal and training that goes into each show. If you have a chance, and haven’t been yet, I would recommend it!

Lillian was beside herself during the whole performance.  She waved and screamed and said hello to all the characters from our seat.  When Ariel came out, well she was in heaven.  She thew up her Ariel doll and yelled out to Ariel to look at it.  Natalie also thought it was amazing!  She would squeal and stand up and clap her hands with glee.  Yup, I think Natalie enjoyed her birthday present as much as we enjoyed being a part of that experience.  I hope they come again soon. I’m ready for another show!

I would consider this our Family Day #4 because even if it wasn’t Natalie’s birthday we would have still gone.  It was just the added perk!
