Everyone knows about this by now, but I thought I’d go ahead and post about it anyway. Because of the accident we both got new cars, so it wasn’t all bad.
On the way home from work, I was hit from behind while in the 1/2 mile long turn lane to get onto 123 northbound. My Matrix was hit by a Ford F-150 and ended up being a total loss, as you can see from the photo below. It’s not the best quality, but that’s because I took it with my cell phone right after the accident (had to make sure I had photographic evidence, just in case).
Anyway, things are settling down now. I’m able to go a lot longer without pain medications, and pretty much everything is settled except for the medical expenses. Once that’s taken care of, I can finally move on from this and get on with my life.
