We took Lillian to go see Santa a couple of weeks ago and she was really excited about going to see him. We hyped it up too! We kept telling her that we were going and she was going to sit on his lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas.
She was beside herself with joy walking up to see him… and then she saw him… and all the joy disappeared into terror! She decided that she liked him from a far but didn’t want to go anywhere close to him. So needless to say, we did not get any pictures with Santa this year but at least we got some in front of the giant Christmas tree they had decorated at Destin Commons.
This is her face of happiness that we took her away from the scary old man with the red suit.
