My work let me know of this opportunity and we took advantage of it. One, it was cold. Two, it was very cold. Three, it was interesting. Four, not sure the kids knew what they signed up for. We each got a garbage bag to fill up trash around the neighborhood. When I tell you we ran into some stuff, we ran into some stuff. Parts of a car was probably the most unique. After finishing our 3 bags, we returned to get a bit warm. They were setting up food but we opted to go ahead home.
The real fun happened on our way home. A very determined man decided my car was a super great target to throw his vape at while we were at the light. Luckily, no damage was done and he walked his way across the street to pick it up. Here’s hoping his reward was still a working vape. I feel he needed to feel seen in a world that can easily look over you. I’ll just say we saw him that day.
