Lillian really wanted to check out a few colleges in South Carolina so we opted to make a vacation out of it. The first stop off the plane was Clemson. Lillian really liked the feel of the school and decided that was her top choice. We had a pretty good college lunch right on the strip. A little more exploring, and of course, a t-shirt later, we were settled in for the night.
The next day we got up and started driving to Charleston to see The University of South Carolina. We stopped mid way to see a treasured landmark of South Carolina, the Angel Tree. This tree was every bit as amazing and impressive as we thought it would be. Standing 60 feet tall with a massive branch span, it was one of those awestruck moments. Something you need to see first hand to truly appreciate it.
We got to Charleston just in time to get a quick bite, settle into our hotel and get ready for a play. The Book of Will in a small intimate theater setting was the perfect ending to a long day!
