We renewed our membership and decided to take advantage of it last weekend. It was an overcast day and cool for this time of year which made the zoo AWESOME. We got there right when it opened so for the first 15 minutes or so, we felt like we had the whole zoo to ourselves. Our favorite exhibits this time were the elephants, giraffes, and the gorillas. We watched an elephant get clean and scrubbed, a mama gorilla with her baby, and a giraffe up close and personal.
The girls even participated in a scavenger hunt around the zoo! They have a monthly theme so that’s incentive enough to keep going back!
