I can’t believe this is the same dog we brought home in January! Once we cut her puppy fur, she was completely transformed. I will say that she looked so much like Maggie that I had a hard time for a while. When she laid on my lap with her face away from me, I would have visions of Maggie doing the same and for a moment I would pretend it was her, and just hold her one more time. I felt so guilty. It took a few weeks to work through and appreciate the glimpses of the past and recognize Violet with individuality. She’s a great combination of Maggie and Charlotte and has helped us heal more than she will ever know. I will be forever thankful to this little ball of awesome.
