If you aren’t familiar with ASF and what it has to offer, you are missing out. It is by far my favorite place in Montgomery. There’s a museum, the Shakespeare outdoor theater you can walk through, a lake, and lots and lots of land to walk, run, sit and picnic on. I took the kids there before I headed to my parents, which is a rare treat to do anything before since we usually have Maggie and Charlotte with us. The kids had been cooped up so much this summer with the rain we’ve been having I knew they could use a nice break from that and get out and run. I sat under a tree and let them go at it. It was wonderful, not to mention just beautiful!
