Can you believe it, the first weekend in June and we already did our family day? Sweet!
Saturday we woke up early, gathered our beach items and headed down to the beach. At 8am we were stepping our feet in the sand. It was a beautiful day but the water wasn’t as clear as two weekends ago, but it wasnt too bad. We bought a canopy to stand under which was awesome to have especially since we ended up staying out there for like 4 hours. We had some good friends join us later on and that was fun to watch our girls play together. They had a ball and so did we!
After the beach we headed out together for lunch and we had a nice relaxing lunch with great company! Definitely need to plan more outings like that again soon!
We were going to wait and head over to Billy Bowlegs and watch the pirates come in but it was getting late in the day and the kids were tired from all the beach activities. We ended up going to the Air Force Armament museum and that turned out to be just the right thing to do. We walked around for a little while and saw some neat things. I think Lillian’s favorite part was getting in the pilot seat and pretending to fly.
Day #6 was a success and I can’t believe it’s already been 6! Wow, this year is really moving along.
