Saturday Festivities

Pensacola hosted it’s annual crawfish festival today and we decided to join in on the festivities for the first time.  We were able to do a few arts and crafts with Lillian in the family section of the park where we enjoyed face painting, sand necklace and star wand making. We also listened to some decent cajun music and ate all the fair/festival food we could eat (I mean it!  We had gator poboys, french fries, corn dogs, 1 lb of steamed crawfish, funnel cake and snowcones)!  I must say the gator poboy was my favorite.  We typically keep our weekends pretty simple and stay close to home so it was a nice change of pace today. More pictures posted in the snapshot section soon.
