Our little girl is growing up…TOO FAST! Lillian started attending the 2 year old class at her school today. Her director, Cristy, and her 1 year old teacher, Ms Kim, performed an assessment on Lillian to see how she was developing and she aced both the 1 year old and the 2 year old! We’ll be meeting with both of them next week so more details on the assesment to follow.
Seeing how she’d be moving up in a month or so, they decided to go ahead and place her in there so she could be more challenged and have activities that required a larger attention span. Unfortunately, Ms Ali her 2 year old teacher will be going out on maternity leave and plans to stay home to raise her daughter, but Ms Kim will be taking over her class so Lillian should feel right at home. Matt and I are both very proud of her but yet, it’s a little bittersweet. I guess our next big milestone will be potty training! Wish us luck!
