2024, you were a blur. So many things and honestly it felt like we were floating through life. It wasn’t until I looked back and was like OK, we did have a 2024.
Matt continues to love his job. He works with people that get him and he gets them so the culture is really good and they are able to work and get stuff done in a way that doesn’t feel stressful while still adding immense value.
I got promoted this year so lots on my shoulders and high expectations. We have some tremendous work coming up and I’m excited/terrified about that and the impact my team will directly have
This year we traveled a bit more, crossing off Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, Vermont, & Montreal. We even took a trip back to FL for Lillian’s senior trip to Destin.
Music concerts, live theater, and going to 3 hockey games were additions.
Natalie started high school! yay! No more middle school. She continues to outshine in her classes. I hope next year she finds some classes that challenge her
Lillian is in her first year of college, met someone, and is now dating Aiden. He treats her so well and I couldn’t have asked for anyone else to be in this season of her life.
The kid’s friend groups have meshed so well that they have all hung out together. Matt and I really love how they are expanding to be encompassing and it’s one giant group.
I’m going into 2025 with a sense of show me what you got. I think we’re due for a season of normal. I left 2024 a bit mentally tired. I hope in 2025 our family can create opportunities to reset.
