This time, last year we were hoping to be in Spain celebrating Matt’s 4-0! But alas, the world decided to have a pandemic and we weren’t able to go. However, that didn’t keep us from celebrating his birthday in a low key, social distancing way. Off to my parents’ house we went and enjoyed a fun day. We did have a small surprise for him though, since we couldn’t have all his family around, we brought the family to him in the form of a birthday video. Everyone did such a great job in participating and sharing a fun and unique birthday message. Made my heart happy! I think, with the circumstances we had presented to us, we did a great job of making him feel loved as he welcomed a new decade.
