This year I had such an awesome present lined up for Matt! There is a new business that opened up in Destin called Power Up Watersports. The owner of the business is actually related to one of the teachers at the daycare so I had the scoop from the beginning. Well, one of the things that I saw they were going to have was the Flyboard. This is a water-jetpack that you use in the water and it shoots you up in the air! From the first time I saw it I was like YES! Must get this for Matt! Fast forward a few weeks and I’m ready to get this thing going. Turns out he was truly just starting out and his equipment had not arrived yet but it was scheduled to arrive the weekend before Matt’s birthday! I had this AWESOME gift and I was so excited and then…it got held up in customs and it wouldn’t be here on time. BUMMER! I did get a gift certificate to give to Matt so he didn’t walk out empty handed. He would have been the 2nd person to test it out but scheduling hasn’t given us an opportunity to set some time for him to do it. So hopefully I can give him his gift soon.
Matt did receive his presents from Lillian and Natalie on his birthday. They got Matt some "toys" that they could join in on playing. Matt received two battery powered water guns from Lillian and a Tangled Wii game from Natalie. Both toys he could enjoy with the girls!
I’ll post pictures of his Flyboard adventure when we end up doing it, but until then here he is with his girls!
