After two years off, yes two. Being pregnant and just enjoying raising our girls has made us neglect doing ANYTHING to the house. Do I regret it? No, I’ve so enjoyed the relaxing no plan weekends and it has allowed me to really think of what I want for our house. What’s working and what’s not. So this year Matt and I have decided to go room by room and purge, organize, decorate as we go this year. It’s been 5 years since we painted so we’ll be repainting the main areas of our house too. I’m looking forward to the projects and bringing new decorations and life into the house.
We’re looking to start in the garage and getting that all straightened out but since we need undivided time and a whole weekend in there we decided to start a little smaller on a project I really wanted done. A new mirror for the computer area. This is what we’ve had since we’ve moved in
I got the idea from here. I showed it to Matt and he was like I can do that and I was like YES! I purchased the mirrors from Hobby Lobby and AC Moore and then it was time for the wood and the rest of the materials. So off to Lowes we went. A few hours later we had this:
A few more hours of work later we were (I mean Matt was) finally done! I now have an awesome mirror as you can tell! Can’t wait to finish up this nook in the house! Keep an eye out for more project updates! I’m looking forward to the fun things we have planned!
