I have been wanting to redo the pantry for such a long time. All we had were plain shelves, and it was disorganized and dull. After lots of searching, I finally found inspiration on Pinterest and knew that was it. We ordered cabinets and a butcher block and then waited for everything to arrive.
When it did, Matt got to work sanding all the cabinets. Since we bought builder grade, he wanted to make sure they looked professional, and he really made that happen. We picked out some pretty hardware, and piece by piece he made progress. It ended up taking a little over two months since we worked on it as we could, which meant our dining room doubled as the pantry for a while.
Little by little, the project came together—paint, cabinets, shelves, brass railing, and finally new organization. A true team effort from the family, and now it makes me so happy every time I walk in there.
