Natalie used her birthday to once again gift us the joy of a hockey game. This time she invited Kayla, Jeremiah, and Aidan to come along. It was Kayla’s second game, but the first for Aidan and Jeremiah.
The first two periods were so slow. Honestly, I could imagine most people saying it was a one and done. But then came the last period, the last five minutes. The Canucks woke up and pulled off what I would call one of the most miraculous wins in hockey history. At least, that is how I see it. The kids were hyped. At the end I asked what they felt about hockey and Aidan was like they need to bring a team to Houston and I am going to be on the team. :) I think Natalie got the best birthday gift ever. For the Canucks, the next day they were eliminated from the playoffs, but who cares! Everyone is going to be talking about this game!
