We got Natalie well enough to get on the road and started making our way toward Alexandria. We made a quick stop at Mount Vernon but decided not to spend the money or the time for a full tour, so it was just a short visit.
With some time to spare before our Airbnb was ready, we walked around Alexandria. We checked out the skinniest house, strolled through a beautiful park, and got a feel for the town. It really is such a quaint place.
Once the Airbnb was ready we headed over. Natalie was such a trooper, but she was definitely ready for a bed and to be closer to a bathroom. Matt and I decided to do a little more exploring on our own and really enjoyed the time together.
