So I heard that Flower Mound was having a chalk festival, and knowing how cool these can be I wanted to check it out. Well, it was more of a kids chalk festival than a real one so I’m glad we went the day after to just see the art. I mean, you can’t compare to the one hosted at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival or in Marietta, GA. Either way, it wasn’t a wasted trip. We had fun explorer the children’s master pieces and, on a plus side, it was hosted in a park we had not gone to before and it was actually very cool. They had a park for the kids, but also an outdoor work out area and a very nice nature trail. I have a feeling we’ll be back!
