Dallas has an infamous neighborhood called Deep Ellum. It’s the music, the vibe, the grittiness that attracted me to it. It felt a bit like ATL. Colors of people doing their thing. Art was cool, shops had a vibe, food was legit, and the hustle was alive. Not unique to Dallas, homelessness has increasingly become prevalent and crime is wild. So what could be a cool scene is sketchy. Regardless, this felt a lot like Five Points and our hearts needed a bit of color after a few months of living in beige.
