This was a bit of an odd celebration for us. We typically go all out, but for this one, Lillian wanted it low-key and spent with the people she loved. Big changes are on the horizon and I think she needed an opportunity to just soak it in and savor the time, the people, and the environment. We again skipped the traditional birthday pictures. Life has been a bit of a spiral lately but with the dark there is light, and Lillian by far is a light in our lives. Happy Birthday to the fiery, justice seeker. May you always continue to speak loud for the voiceless.
