Matching PJs, baking, hanging out and opening presents pretty much sums up our Christmas. Low key the way we like it. We started off with our baking activities the day before Christmas Eve. We made our dough for our traditional cinnamon rolls, some peanut butter reindeer treats, and mint chocolate chip cookies. Then Christmas Eve we woke up, took a shower and hopped into our new PJs. I got matching ones for all the girls this time and closely matching ones for Matt. We looked pretty darn adorable if I do say so myself!
Throughout the day we opened family presents and hung out watching movies.
Santa of course provided the kids with their yearly video and as each year before, the kids were in awe! :)
We had not had a chance to go see the neighborhood lights so we headed out for a Christmas Eve walk. We were not disappointed. Some of neighbors really get into the holiday spirit.
With the kids all snuggled in bed, it was time for Santa. The next morning at 2:30am the kids woke up. We coaxed them back to bed until 5:00am. At that point they were bursting at the seams, so off we went downstairs to begin our festivities. The kids (all of them) were stoked with their presents.
