What do you do when you haven’t seen part of your family for over 20 years? You squeeze as much as you can in a 2 week window. Two of my cousins from Spain and their families came to vacation with us and though it was a whirlwind, it was amazing. I needed that; I think we all did.
Lillian and Natalie fell in love with my cousin’s kids. Even with the language barrier they managed to become friends and truly connect. We had a lot of adventures, to say the least, and enjoyed some really great times and supported each other in the sad times. Lots of laughter as well as tears, but overall simply awesome. I feel they enjoyed their time and hopefully, the next time we see them, it’ll be in Spain!
