We have a new family member! Genevieve joined our family in late July. We’ve been thinking of adding to our fur family and decided we wanted to rescue a kitten. We made our way to the Atlanta Humane Society on a Sunday afternoon. This was our first time going to a Humane Society and all I can say is WOW! It was beautiful and the animals were so well taken care of. We were shown the cat facility and looked around seeing if we could find the perfect baby for us. There were many to choose from, but in the bottom section we saw her and fell in love with her sweet little face. From the moment we were given her to hold and decide, she was the most laid back chill cat ever. We knew she’d fit right in. No more looking, we had found her. We were her forever home.
After some paperwork and a quick debriefing we were set. Charlotte and Violet got accustomed to her pretty quickly. They all love to play, especially Violet and Genevieve. It’s so funny watching them hide and jump out to scare each other and then wrestle. Best friends in the making!
So for now, our family is complete. I think she’s fitting in just fine!
