One more fun activity down! We headed out early Sunday morning to hit up not 1 but 2 breakfast places before the zoo. It was a perfect morning too! I still find it a little surreal to see buildings like these so close to where I live!
First stop was Sublime Doughnuts a quaint doughnut shop right down the street from Georgia Tech. So good. So. So good! We’ll definitely go back. If only for the couch and doughnut pillows :)
Next stop, West Egg. YUM! It’s like an old school diner meets hipster. It was a nice filling breakfast to prepare us for the zoo!
We finally made it to the zoo! We saw lions and tigers and bears oh my! Best part of the trip was getting there early enough to almost have the entire panda exhibit to ourselves. Our babies were thrilled! Needless to say, they looked forward to the end of our trip so they could get their panda souvenirs! The zoo was really well laid out and being the perfect, pre fall day, it was a comfortable visit. We ended up getting a membership so we didn’t feel too bad leaving without seeing everything once the crowds trickled in.
We really worked up an appetite and head back to our neck of the woods and introduced the girls to Varsity! A great end to an awesome day!
