We made one more stop at Abuelo and Abuela’s house before we made our official move. Since we weren’t going to see them in April, Abuela had Easter early. So we had our traditional Spanish torijas, rabbit for dinner (Lillian’s favorite) and of course an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Not the traditional candy and goodies. Instead, they had mini piggy banks and they are already planning how they will make use of their new loot! The Easter Bunny is going to have to step it up a notch this year!
It was a good day of unwinding and mentally getting ready for being residents of a new state and the chaos that comes with moving. Early the next morning we packed up the cars and loaded the kids and headed to Georgia!
