The Butterfly House.
Lillian and I went on the first field trip of 2nd grade to the butterfly house in Navarre. We were both pretty excited about the adventure but the butterfly house didn’t live up to it’s name. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s getting colder outside and there just isn’t a whole bunch of butterflies or if my expectations were just too high. We did learn about the life stages of the butterfly, the kind of places they like to live and the great migration of the Monarch butterflies.
Overall Lillian and I both agreed we’d been on better field trips. I’m hoping that the next one in a few weeks works out better for us!
