We couldn’t have chosen a better day to head out to do our yearly strawberry picking! The weather was beautiful and the berries were plentiful! We didn’t have to pick long to get an amazing quantity! This year we headed off alone due to some scheduling issues but if the stars align and we and our friends can get to go together, there will be a part deux to this year’s post. :) I think after so many years of this tradition, we’ve mastered the strawberry picking, cleaning and eating process. We picked around 8-9 lbs of strawberries again this year and plowed through 2 big bowls already. The rest we’re freezing and looking forward to some yummy treats in the near future.
