Lillian had her 3rd field trip and this time we went to an indian Pow Wow. She was stoked, as well as her entire class, to be able to see what our adventure would bring. Well, Lillian’s class stayed stoked and Lillian did not. She FREAKED out and wanted nothing to do with the Pow Wow. She hid behind me the entire time! She did loosen up a little when it was time for our sack lunch and the "scary" things were over. The Pow Wow also happened to be on the coldest day we have had so far down here which made sitting on a blanket, without moving, pretty miserable.
I thought the whole thing was pretty cool even with a scared munchkin trying to curl herself into my back for protection!
