So last Friday I got off work early and decided to treat Lillian and I to a nail salon trip. We picked out our colors and they got to work. We enjoyed our foot bath and wiggling chair as Lillian calls it. The lady was very awesome and really got into making sure Lillian had a great first experience. Everything they did to me she would also demonstrate on Lillian.
When it was time to paint her nails the lady transferred Lillian to her own chair and that’s when Lillian thought she had made it! She turned on her wiggling chair and picked up a magazine and pretended to read like everyone else around us while our lady went to town creating little artworks on her toes. She asked if I would mind getting her nails painted too and of course I said why not so she walked out with her nails and toes painted.
I’m definitely looking forward to making this a little fun trip for me and her once Natalie comes. I think it will be good mommy and Lillian quality time. The best part is she only charged me $7 for all her work on Lillian!
