On our way to the Emerald Grande for our weekend holiday we stopped at Publix to get some groceries. Since we had the kitchen right there we didn’t see much need to go and spend our money on food so we STOCKED up (no exaggeration).
Lillian knows the routine at Publix. We go in, show our card and get a free cookie from the bakery. Since we weren’t at our local Publix, I didn’t even think of it but Lillian did and she dragged me to the bakery. The lady gives her the free cookie and I pull out my card and the lady’s face lights up!
She said "Yay!, you have a card and it’s all full. You’re the only one this month so you’re our winner!!!"
I was like, what? Well, she got a big ol’ cookie cake just for her! Decorated with her name on it and everything. We picked it up Sunday on our way home from our vacation and Lillian was so thrilled. She held it throughout the store and on the ride home. She wasted no time digging in.
