When we took the pictures of Sam and Emily I brought my camera bag with me and Lillian wanted to bring her back pack too. She filled it up with all the essentials – wood food, tea cups, stuffed animal, necklaces, and other very important belongings. I didn’t think she would take it out of the car but she was adamant in bringing it along and she carried it the whole time.
At one point we were asking Sam and Emily to walk away from me to get their picture and Matt made a comment to Emily about her walking. Lillian took that as her cue to strut her stuff and show how to walk. So here is demonstrating how to walk and pose. With her little back pack she just looks like she’s on her own ready to take on the world. I’m glad I still have many years to go before I really have to live this moment.
