We finally got to meet Jaylynn this weekend. Andrea, Jaylynn, and Dylan came down to Montgomery at the last minute to visit us before their trip to Hawaii. It was a nice surprise! Chris and Lesley came too and we feasted on some good seafood they brought with them. Matt and I have decided that we need to start eating more seafood. I mean we have the resources in our backyard!
Anyway, Lillian and Dylan got along great with the occasional misunderstanding but they had fun. Lillian fell in love with Jaylynn, which was really nice since I didn’t know how she would react to me holding another baby. At the daycare, she doesn’t like me talking to the other kids and gets defensive if I do. So it was a nice change to see her so receptive to the idea of having another baby near me. She asked Matt and I to make her a baby so she can have one at her house. Matt and I were planning on summer of 2010 to be our next baby’s birth year so again, it’s nice to see her excited.
Jaylynn was such an adorable baby. She was the calmest, quietest, most content child. She slept, ate, smiled, and then slept again. She’s already trying to hold herself up on our legs and she loves lifting her head to see what is going on around her. We can’t wait to see her again.
